Fresh from Zimbabwe, the debut album by Mr. Medicine Kanengoni and his wife, Miriam Kanengoni AKA Mr. & Mrs. Kanengoni. Full of Zimbabwean traditional rhythms, melodies, instruments and wonderful vocals, all based upon the deep music of the mbira dza vadzimu, Zimbabwe's most well known musical instrument.
A true family affair, the album features the Ancient Mbira Brothers (3 brothers of Medicine Kanengoni), Lovemore Kanengoni (son of the duo on backing vocals) and long-time friend Sherphard Chinyani on lead guitar.
Fans of Zimbabwean music will relish this release.
